Traffic Update: I-84 Stretch Reopens After Tractor-Trailer Overturns In Orange County

A stretch of a busy roadway has now reopened after an overturned tractor-trailer crash on a busy roadway in the Hudson Valley.

According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the incident occurred in Orange County on I-84 eastbound in Newburgh around 7 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19.

The road was closed from Exit 34 (I-84) - Newburgh (NY 17K) (Newburgh) for several hours. The westbound left lane was also blocked.

One of the two eastbound lanes, and the westboun lane, were cleared before both lanes fully reopened.
